I find it to be kind of interesting that people on this forum have been saying for years things like "My 2003 Cummins has all sorts of power." or "who needs a truck that can pull 30,000 lbs". Now that a manufacturer is targeting the small RV market with a smaller truck none of us have any interest in it.
Well... that's not the argument that I was making. The OP was comparing a true 3/4 ton truck to a half ton truck with meager payload. That is why I made the comment about 2 cars that are so different.
But to speak on your comment, many people (myself included) have advocated for a tweener vehicle.
I want a vehicle that was in between a half ton and 3/4 ton for payload. The Nissan has LESS payload than a half ton... not interested.
I want a vehicle that was between a half and 3/4 ton in price. The Nissan costs MORE than my Ram... not interested.
I want a vehicle with BETTER fuel mileage than a 3/4 ton truck. The Nissan doesn't appear to have that either... not interested.
Just because someone makes a vehicle doesn't mean that it meets the needs for which we have advocated. Every reason for which I would want a vehicle like this, this Nissan fails to provide.
