Chevrolet was my first choice and I tried negotiating at Koons, Bob Bell, and JBA. Specifically I wanted a crew cab standard bed LT or WT with options, 5-6K wasnt too bad a deal but just more than I wanted to spend. I think there was one 4x2 in that configuration in a 100 mile radius of me. Ram I tried Thompson and quite frankly got know where with those a holes, checking internet pricing at others dealers inventory seemed slim. This was early September so maybe I should've waited a bit longer, no regrets buying the XD though.
I prefer my trucks simple without all the crazy options too and the Nissan SV is just that. It's every bit as capable as the 06 Silverado 2500 8.1L Allison that it replaces with more power to boot. The 2016 XD's are the ones you can get crazy deals on right now , not the 2017s.
