If your happy pulling your 41' toy hauler with a little 1 ton (which would be my choice truck for a trailer that size as well) then the OP would likely be just as happy pulling his trailer with the Nissan.
Maybe so. But, just as you probably reviewed the factory payload rating for your Ford to verify it was in line with your pin weight, I think it is wise for the OP to at least consider the Nissan's factory payload rating to be sure that his advertised 754 lb tongue weight was not out of line for the truck. Just my opinion and nothing more.
I agree it is best to consider the manufacturer's payload rating but in my case I wanted a little run around truck that would adequately pull my RV as well as the odd heavy load. I bought my first f350 in the fall of 2010 and after experiencing how well it handled the task I decided to get the same truck to replace it in 2016. I look at what I want my truck to do and I'm willing to compromise a little by neglecting the payload in order to drive what I want. If I had looked at the weight of the trailers that I tow and chose my truck based on manufacturer's ratings I would be driving an F450....I don't want an F450.
