Here is what I was working on today. I had to check the brakes on my 3/4 ton Cheby. I was thinking Hol-Lee-Hell this thing is BIG! Like this drum weighs more than a complete 1/2 ton rear end!
This picture does not do it justice on how big and heavy this thing really is! All I can say is a half ton is a toy compared to this thing!
BTW, after 175,000 miles I pulled the drum, took one look at the brakes and put the whole thing back together with factory shoes left in place! :E Should be good for another 100 grand or so!
