GMs new 6.2 di seems to get great mpg
I have read a lot of owners reporting 16-18 average and 20-21 highway out of a 6.2. Any here have a new one?? MPG numbers please.

6.2L is for the half tons. Aluminum block. The HDs still have the 6.0L iron block/AL heads and far less power. Maybe 2016 power will be improved. The 6.0L is ok on power and very durable/inexpensive to maintain, but had lowest power output for gas engines since, well, almost introduction in late 90s/early 2000s.
