Look out Tacoma.

  • They sure do drive good though. Handy size vehicle, especially as a commuter/weekend warrior/garbage hauler...

    It's just not cheap...

    Thanks!

  • Until the brake pedal falls off.....then everyone else really needs to look out!!!

I`ve seen the 2 parked next to each other, the size difference isn't much. I see this new truck as a hit at first because it`s new, and then it will fizzle out. there is no need for a truck 7/8`s the size of the Silverado!
  • The guy who traded in the truck i currently own traded it in for the new canyon. He was an older guy and just didnt have no use for the truck. Sales guy told me he was a great customer for many years and he was waiting for the canyon diesel to come but decided to just to get the new canyon.

Yeah that surprised me as I don't think I found one that early in the year around here anyway. I pretty much drove ours off the rail car in July, there were zero within a 500 mile radius on the lots.
Nice little grocery getter so far.
  • Very nice looking trucks - saw one at the dealer the other day. Not looking to buy, need the 2500HD, but would consider it if not for the weight carry.

Did not drive it, but might next time - just to see how it handles. I'm expecting they might build an SUV or maybe re-birth the Safari on this frame and suspension. That would be a great VAN ... a true 4x4 and Van is missing from everywhere, although might be too limited a market.
