Thought I would update this thread. I towed the TT to Wyoming for my son and stayed a week with him until his wife could drive up and join him.
It was a great experience while I was there, and he tells me that it is still going great. In the week I was there we had only 2 people in the camp ( 10 sites) and they only stayed one night. The FS only wants him to watch over the camp, he doesn't collect any $$, clean bathrooms or any other duty.
The propane lasted us a little more than a week, the fresh water we pumped into a container and used a siphon hose to transfer to the TT.
The Generator he bought to charge the battery is adequate, but just barely. It won't run the MW, even after I installed a lower wattage unit, and the TT battery doesn't seem to charge very well. (New batt)
We used the RR on site to minimize the use of the black water tank, but I did add a tow hitch to his car so he can tow the TT to town when he has to.
As my wife and I were getting ready to leave (7/3) a family came in to fill the camp for the July 4 weekend. Other than being surprised at the fact there was a host and we had taken the best site ( right next to the river :) ) they were very friendly and nice.
I'm glad it is working out for him. Thanks to all who offered advice and input.
