My aunt and uncle were camp host for many years at a local camp ground. They had electric and water hook-up but had to tow the trailer to dump. The dump station was located in the campground though which made it easier.
They did not have to clean the bathrooms. Responsibilities included cleaning the camp sites after folks moved out. Max length of stay was one week so it wasn't too bad. They also had to deliver fire wood to whoever purchased it each day. A four wheeler with trailer along with precut firewood was provided for this. The usual problems they had to deal with were fireworks during the 4th and people that liked to have bon-fires instead of camp fires.
Aside from staying for free...the normal cost was $30 a day, they both held their full time jobs locally and their real home was only 15 miles away which made it easy for them to maintain and check mail each week. They really loved it and did it for over 15 years.
