- mowermechExplorerI have been mostly happy with Wells Fargo for many years.
Of course, our local Credit Union is pretty good, too. - beemerphile1Explorer

I see you asking a number of questions regarding full time issues. Do you know that the forum has a full-timers section? - SolidAxleDurangExplorerAs an economics consumer, I recommend Bank of America. Best online interface available. And I pay ZERO fees.

As an Economics teacher, I recommend
(1) a reputable local credit union and use online banking services. Some credit unions are better than others for online services. Best bang for the buck, and they won't tack on all the little fees that large national banks like Bank of America, Chase, WF are likely to charge.
(2) For a full service bank, I'd recommend USAA. You do not need any military connection to bank at USAA; that is only for their separate insurance company. USAA is most excellent when it comes to banking online or by phone; they caught scammers using my debit card number in South Africa (!) and nixed it immediately. A similar attempt was made on my brother-in-law, and they caught that, too. Since they cater to military serving around the world, USAA puts a lot of resources into their online banking services. - BoskieExplorer

If you have any military background you should check out USAA. No ATM fee's..... Ever!
You don't need a military background for USAA bank...only for their insurance products. I'm sure about this one; I actually go to the main bank in person, but only when I need to access my safe deposit box. I use online banking exclusively now.
I really like being able to use ANY ATM and not pay any fees. - anaroExplorerx5 on USAA. Never had a problem with them. Use any ATM, can even download an app onto iPad or smart phone to deposit checks by taking a picture. They have good rates for loans and great customer service.

If you qualify, go with USAA. Best bank and insurance company there is.
The best. No fee on any ATM. - rockylarsonExplorerWe had a small town bank, 45 years ago. Never switched banks or even branches. They have changed hands and names several times and now call themselves Wells Fargo.
It was a little bumpy 10 years ago when first starting out RVing. Now with online access, ATM's everywhere, money back at most stores, direct deposit, and finally smart phone/tablet apps for depositing checks we find them totally acceptable. - Major_DadExplorerAs an Economics teacher, I recommend
