That gives one pause for concern.
I may end up going with the Maxxis anyway. My biggest problem with Maxxis is they are hard to find locally. They must be specially ordered. I really don't want to be stuck 2/3 the way across this country, have a Maxxis blow out due to hitting a piece of road debris, and have to wait for a tire to be shipped in.
I wonder why Maxxis is so loathe to set up a good distribution/dealer network.
