Got a great deal on Maxxis 8008 ST Tires

I've been looking around for a while to replace my OEM tires with Maxxis and found a great deal from Discount Tire Direct off of their Ebay listing.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-NEW-205-75-14-MAXXIS-M8008-ST-RADIAL-TRAILER-75R-R14-TIRES-/191106194957?hash=item2c7ed11e0d&vxp=mtr

$100 off a set of 4 so I couldn't say no. Delivery was fast within 1 day of ordering and my local Discount Tire location installed them. Thanks Discount Tire for a great deal.

Hope everyone else can get this nice deal.
  • That's where I got my last set of Maxxis ST tires 4 years ago, were delivered in a couple of days out of their Phoenix warehouse and had our local Discount Tire balance and install them. It beat the quoted price of our nearby Discount Tire dealer by nearly $100.
  • Thank you Baconbit25! I ordered mine. Should be here by next Fri. Would liked to have gone with Kumho 857's but then I would have to overinflate my rim to 65 PSI and now it doesn't seem the 195R14 are available. I've had great luck with Maxxis in the past so this is a great deal. Thanks again.
  • Thanks Baconbit25, i appreciate it. Sounds like i need to shop some more.
  • They were $316 with free shipping and no tax . Installation at local discount tire was another 77 bucks

Do you mind me asking what that amount was? I was quoted 4 of the identical tires size included, mounted balanced and installed for $464.00 which I thought was a good deal on that tire. I have a year old camper with the china bombs on and i'm getting ready to replace them before I head out on a 2000 mile trip next month.
  • Sounds like a good deal...Maxxis tires have worked great for us.

I believe the ones you got are Load Range C. (6ply). Make sure they are adequate for the GVWR of your trailer.

Also check the build date. Hopefully they are relatively fresh tires.
