Grand Design Imagine owners

We purchased a 2500 RL. The only thing our dealership carried was with the theater seats. We wanted the trifold couch so we could have the extra bed. We were told we were asking for the moon, but they would order one. A month later our trailer is "ready"and we go to pick it up. The couch was not what was shown in the literature. It is narrow and when opened it slants back toward the back. Seems like it is one made to put in a slideout. The legs at the end of the bed are too long and the tech said the had no adjustment. That was the end of their help on it . If someone has a rear living with the couch, could you please post a pic or post the width measurement so I can have something to go on. I feel like we've been duped. Thanks

    GD Owners Forum

Lots of great folks over there. There is a sub-forum just for Imagine owners and two forums the Grand Design customer service folks monitor:

    New Feature Recommendations, and
    Tech Corner

    Give it a try.

It's pay to play, not really a fan of that, but I tried it.

Then Chris Tretta booted me because I "can come off a bit harsh at times". LOL. And? Well, that was the first time being booted from any type of forum since 1998. That's right...20 years. Chris Tretta. What a wuss.

So I visit and post semi-often on the Grand Design RV and Grand Design Imagine page on Facebook where real people are posting without an avatar to hide behind. Sure there's some drama there like any forum, but its different. A better different!
  • We have a GD with the couch in the rear. Yes the foot area is higher than the head area. It's a Lippert design problem, not GD's. We have a couch and theater seating. Our couch would be much wider than one that would replace the theater seats.
