My Great Camping Neighbors story --
I've been doing a week long Christmas camping trip to Big Bend NP for years and my tradition is to hike the South Rim trail on Christmas Day. But I didn't have a hiking partner this year and so wasn't going to do the hike. Met a nice couple in the campground and husband didn't want to do the hike but his wife did, so I volunteered to hike with her. Was surprised when she took me up on the offer and her husband didn't object. So we did the 17 miles together -- she enjoyed the Christmas Day hike, he enjoyed not doing the hike and having a happy wife and I enjoyed finding a new hiking friend. It was a great Christmas for all!
