Hallmark Manufacturing Customer Service
Consider this when purchasing your new TC.
1. These are not inexpensive Campers, they are in the upper category for cost per square foot for a truck camper.
2. Thoroughly investigate everything, got ours home and thought the appliances had a plastic film on the doors, went to clean them and found the scratches were in the appliance finish.
3. The Rhino Roof Rack did not slide front to back (Hallmark uses their track), the screws they use to mount the track to the roof prohibit the rack from moving more than a few inches.
4. The stereo and speakers they use are the lowest quality on the market, one of the speakers went bad within two trips.
5. Hallmark was straight up when we put our deposit down, the delivery lead time was 6 + weeks, we had an appointment to pick up the camper on a Friday, we live 3+ hours away (Colo Western Slope). We were there for over 5 hours, partly due to the fact they did not have all of the accessories installed before we got there, we did not want to take more time going over the camper with a fine tooth comb.
6. 3 days before we were to take delivery we were informed the Fox Wing Awning we wanted was back ordered, I think they must have ordered the awning the week before we were to pick up the camper. We settled on an awning that we did not really want but did not want to have to make the trip back to Longmont to have the awning we wanted put on in 2014 when Fox Wing was supposed to have the back orders filled.
7. First time using the camper we tried to remove the post and table, thought I was going to need a handyman jack to get it out of the floor.
Note;
We informed Hallmark about all of the issues immediately, to date they have done nothing about providing an apology or offer to replace or rework any of these issues, they continue to claim back ordered appliances, Atwood constantly shipping them scratched appliances, etc., etc.
• I re worked the screws in the roof rack, Hallmark did nothing to acknowledge the issue, took 3 hours to do this.
• I replaced the speaker, after going through their lack of Customer Service and the length of the trip to Longmont it was less expensive to stay home and buy new speakers than pay the fuel to go to their shop.
• 8 months later they have done nothing about replacement of the Oven Door, every time I contact them they provide the same excuse.
• I am pretty sure they are still building new campers with new appliances, funny they do not have a replacement available. If I wanted to sell this camper today it would look as if we do not take care of our investment.
• We have zero confidence they will stand behind anything that may occur in the future.
