Not a direct answer to your question, but....I have recently changed from a lifetime of Michelin usage to Hankooks. I have found the traction to be as good, the price to be much better and the durability / wear to be much outstanding. ON my truck and our Honda Odyssey the Hankooks blows away the Michelins.
It seemed to me, that Michelin was resting on their laurels and Hankook was trying very hard to capture market share.....by producing a great tire for a fair price.
Most of my vehicles now have Hankooks.....and when my boat and camper are due for new tires I am going to go with a Hankook LT...
