Well I know we love ours, and we are first time Ram owners. Tows our new to us 15,500 lb fifth wheel better than our Ford 6.0L towed our former 12,000 lb fifth wheel and gets just as good if not slightly better fuel mileage doing it. And this is with only 13k kms on it. The exhaust brake is second to none.
My biggest complaint about it is the absolute POS General tires on it.:M They have been balanced five times and I still have a highway vibration. I may have to break down and upgrade to a set of Michelins soon before it drives me crazy (or more so):)
YUP, I have been very vocal about the POS tires RAM puts on these Dually's. My POS Generals made it 25K on my 11 RAM developed a big knot on the front tire. They were 2/3 worn out at that mileage. Went with MS2's and at 40K when I traded in for another POS RAM they were 1/3 worn.
So with 200 miles on my new POS RAM I installed a set of MS2's and sold the 6 NEXEN's. I was not going thru poor tire wear and possible tire problems on the road as I did with the POS Generals.
At least I have good tires on my POS RAM. :B
I agree to a point on the tires, my 2005 came with the "POS" Michelins, they lasted 6k miles, they weren't meant for gravel roads... just like the BFGs! My 2013 came with Generals... can't remember what general but they were a "street" tire, not meant for gravel either. Had a set of Toyo M55s... over rated and over priced, couldn't keep them aired-up. Set I have on now, General AT Grabbers... really liking these, great in mud, on snow/ice and very quiet on the highway. And at a great price... goes to show, its not always the most expensive tire, is the best. Guess that's the reason I went with Ram (97-3500, 2005-3500 and the 2013-3500), great truck at a reasonable price! - larry_barnhartExplorerya don't need a ram to be happy.
Happy with our chev also. happy is good so enjoy the ride fellas
chevman - ib516Explorer IIVery happy with mine. Great mpg (for a 410hp gas engine), great power, great interior, great looks, and a great ride for a HD truck. :)

Apparently you haven't read the thread about the customer satisfaction survey. Ram owners don't seem that happy with their truck. At least not as happy as Ford and GM owners.
Survey? Don't need no steenking survey. Am plenty happy. - mr61impalaExplorerAt 89,000 miles my 2010 Michigan built Ram has been just as trouble free as my Mexican built 1996 was (5 year/100k mile warranty expired last fall, unused).
The biggest differences are the ride, the quiet, and the additional 5 mpg overall in everyday driving. The original Goodyear SRA tires lasted 80K miles, smooth and quiet till the end (4/32nds).
57 years old, pickup truck owner continuously since 1978, only my second Dodge/Ram truck.
I had never considered them before, but I would buy again based upon my experience with these 2.
After owning every American brand, I would say they are as good as a Ford for the price of a Chevy.
I love the new Fords but nice ones sure are pricey. - HannibalExplorer

I hear there are happy Prius owners too. Just saying. :P ;)
I'm happy as a puppy with two ******* with mine. :B - rtateExplorerAbsolutely love mine. The only complaint I have is the overly optimistic milage readings on computer. Wish there was some way to adjust it manually. Had the same problem with my 2005.

We just got back from a week down in Nawlins drove both the Ram and the wife's 200. The Ram pulled down 27 MPG average @ 67 mph average for the trip and the 200 got 31! Not to shabby for junk FCA vehicles I would say.
Oh also had the oil changed before we left cost for the filter was $32 and change but the oil itself was $98 with $20 for labor. But with diesel at the same price as reg gas and 10,000 mile oil changes I'm really liking my Ram Ecodiesel!
