I have already contributed more than enough to the local landfill and metal scrap yards to buy anything from Harbor Freight that is going to be a throw away item when it breaks.
It could be almost anything on a generator that could malfunction and there is no place to buy spare parts. When I can buy a new Yamaha or Honda generator for $800 that can be serviced and repaired it seems foolish to go to Harbor Freight. I would sooner look for a used 2000 series to buy from someone who has decided that they need something bigger.
