Help me decide between truck campers one is a camplite 8.6
I was considering the Lance 855 but I decided to spend less.
I am thinking about a Livin Lite Camplite 8.6 and a Palomino Maverick 2902.
I can get them for the same price.
The Palomino is much better on the inside in terms of amenities and storage, etc. . It also has a slide out.
The Livin Lite Camplite 8.6 has a 100% aluminum internal and external frame and construction. There is NO steel or wood in the unit.
I can't seem to find out how the Palomino is constructed. Maybe you guys know.
For the price I'd take the Palomino over the Camplite 8.6 for sure but I suspect that the quality and construction of the Camplite is much better. I am very impressed with the 100% aluminum construction. So in that case I would lean toward the Camplite.
So I guess the question is whether you have more data about the two units than what is on the web sites so that I can consider your data and make a decision that is right for our needs.
There are pictures, videos, and virtual tours on the following links that will give you some good information. The video has a guy standing inside the aluminum frame of the Camplite and it's impressive. The entire interior frame is also aluminum.
I look forward to hearing from some Camplite owners about its quality, etc. This will really help me.
Also, are manual jacks easy enough with a good drill? How long will it take me to load with manual jacks?
Thank you for the information.
