Dang Dutchman, you did good.
I have had my mail box (live out in the country) knocked down twice. Once it was blown to smithereens and the mail scattered in the ditch by a farm implement. I say that cus the color of the paint matched the neighbors field cultivator. Second time the guy at least told me about it and since he is a good neighbor, I told him I would fix the broken post.
The nice elderly lady ( as I recall someone used that bad word "old")reminded me of one nearby where I help out on the farm occasionally. She makes the best apple pies all from scratch. Something to keep in mind. :W
