Dang. Seven years without a mate, all alone. That's gotta be tough.
When I took my Dad's dually out for a date when I was 17, he said something like, "It has an engine and a steering wheel. It only goes where you put it." He was right. I still think about that when I get myself into a tight situation.
Nothing got hit that night, unfortunately, but it's a nice first dually memory, regardless of the impact-free evening.
I hope you and your new friend enjoy each others' company for a long time to come. One day, all of us need a good neighbor, like yourself.
