- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIAre yours held on with 'clips'?
IF so might want to look into adding/using bungee cords to strap it down with. - ChooChooMan74ExplorerI just got mine after the Black Friday sale. I have yet to try mine with the camper covered in snow.
- atreisExplorerMine have clips that attach to the rain gutter above the bunk, and bungees that wrap around the bunk. The clips attached to the rain gutter keep it from sliding down. (The rain gutter on above the bunk on my trailer is a piece of flat aluminum about an inch wide, which makes it easy to attach to. Not all are like this though...)
- ValkyriebushExplorer IIPugs? I have a pug dog.
- dadmomhExplorerOurs came with some small metal clips. Unfortunately, they died fairly soon....sorry, Bob. A trip to Harbor Freight got us a couple of plastic canisters of assorted sizes of plastic clips....maybe 15 or so per canister. Our ROO didn't have anywhere to attach to a rain gutter, but we just pulled it up as high as possible, used one of the bigger clips up top, smaller down the sides and large on the bottom. The bunkend had a sort of trim piece that we clipped to. The bungees were long enough to wrap down, around the bumper and clip back onto itself. We only had one time in 7 seasons when DH took one down for fear it would blow away and that was with 40 - 50 mph winds hitting straight onto the rear bunk. BTW, if you don't already have a 4' step ladder as part of your HTT gear, you might want to look into one. We used ours many, many times in setting up the bunks, especially if we were not on totally flat ground. Makes putting the PUGS on a bunch easier. Also proved invaluable when our awning gave way during the night and we had to take it completely off and put into the bed of the truck....couldn't have gotten home otherwise as the awning completely folded in half from the weight of rain - lesson learned on that one! Happy camping!

it's a hybrid or popup add-on. - PadlinExplorerI do not have the current high wind model but they don't slip down either. 5 mini clips per side and the attached bungee cord around the bunk.
- go_wildExplorerI have the high wind PUGs. Agree with what others have said about using clips to attach to the top rain gutter that runs along the top of the tent end. I use medium size black office binder clips. Also, don't be afraid to adjust the tension on the bungies so the PUGs are fairly tight.

Thanks, No idea what they where talking about.First time I heard that. - WavespriteExplorer IIWe also have the high wind pugs. We hook at the rain gutter with clips as well. I agree, a 4' step ladder helps, because my husband (and usually my 8 year old) have to climb up on the bunk end to attach them. I wish there was a different way to attach other then the clips but we LOVE our PUGS.
Also we took all the elastic hooks that hook underneat, and we attached one side to a large key ring ring, and the other side to a carbiner, so we just hook one hook underneat the bunk end.....
