How do I pull awning down?
Somehow, the black nylon strap that I usually hook with my awning rod is no where to be seen. I don't know what happened to it. How do I unroll the awning without it?

- I would think all you would have to do is pull on the arms a little and it would reveal the strap. That's what I did when it happened to me.
- Becareful with that strap. If it gets too close to one end it can get wound up in the gears. The straps are quite cheap and easy to replace. They just slide into the track.
- Grab the roller and turn it, that's all the strap does.
Pull the latch first, one person can do it. - Be sure it's unlocked, then set up a ladder in the middle of the awning and unroll it by hand. You probably won't have to unroll too far, the black strap will usually fall out then.
- Maybe two people on short ladders and each one try and pull it down by the top of the arms?
