I have used two stacks of Lynx blocks for the last 11 years. Some are cracking and beginning to show their age and some are even sun faded, but all are still functional. I find driving up on two is easy, but more height than that requires stair steps. Soft ground where the blocks sink unevenly is the most stressful on them.
I also use 4x6 wooden blocks for leveling. The are used to keep my short bed camper from creeping up too far on my flat bed and are a quick level where I would need 3 Lynx blocks.
Since I have a DRW, I use twice as many blocks to get the same level as a SRW. Typically I try to position myself on the site so I need none, but sometimes I need a little adjustment here and there to keep my DW happy.
