Funny you should ask. I just spent part of the day dealing with a clog in my toilet after we ran into problems camping last weekend.
I ended up going to the store a buying a wand for cleaning the area between the toilet and the tank. Fortunately mine is a just a straight drop down to the holding tank. While I was at the store, though, I noticed there was another wand that had about a 3' flexible hose attached to it surrounded by a spring. It was designed to be used on units such as yours that don't have a straight drop down to the tank. I don't know if a 3' hose in addition to the length of the wand it was attached to (24" maybe) would be enough to reach down far enough for you but it might be worth a try. Hope this helps.
