How to remove PVC vent pipe out of bathroom

Personally instead of trying to get the vent out I would work the pan up and temporarly secure it as high up as possible. Replace the rotten structure and then lower the pan back in place.

Simple. Cut the pipe and when you are ready to reinstall glue in a coupler.

After looking at it again and thinking about it, maybe not so easy. The elbow going through the floor is the problem. Can't lift the floor over the elbow. Without more pics showing how the pipe is connected to the tank it is hard to tell how to do it. My guess would be the vent pipe is just inserted into the tank and then caulked around. If that is the case you will still want to cut the pipe, probably twice about 12 inches apart, so you can maneuver the lower section around as you work on cutting the caulking away.

Can you post another closer-up picture of the elbow area without anything blocking the view?

Bantam, that huge vent pipe is probably a code requirement, but there is very little flow in your tiny system. I would cut it all out, do the work, and replace with 1 or 1.5 inch PVC.

Cut in the vertical part then couple back together with either a PVC or rubber coupling when finished.

Remove the vent cover on top of the roof. The pipe should slide up and out of the way
