When RV sales and prices ramped in early 2020, many assumed prices would drop when all the drama settled down. Didn't happen. With inflation now driving up the cost of everything, to include most every item it takes to build an RV, prices on RV's have no where to go but up. If the 15-20% inflation of the late 70's is any indicator, we're in for a wild ride for the next few years.
Case in point. We paid ~$40k for our 2019 TC new in early 2019. Today, saw the same exact year, make and model TC for sale used on rvtrader for $50k (dealer ad). New 2022's are almost $60k. Insane. Called to make sure we still have proper coverage in the event of a total-loss. Glad we did. Cost us a few more $$ to get things right. And the downward trickle of inflation continues . . .
