The bottom half of our Bfoot and in the corners are some thick heavy Glass work.. How thick I would expect 5/32-1/4 in... It is really tough.. The bottom of the nose which is part of the bottom 1/2 is probably 1/16- 3/32" Do not know about the Nlite.
Across the top is minimum 1/8in glass where I have had need to expose the structure... Walking on it is like a rock with the sandwich of 1 inch insulation and 1/8in ply. I replaced the front vent with a 24x24" escape hatch years ago... The Fglass was at least 1/8in thick. I took the pieces that I cut away and attempted to pull them apart... no way, I needed a knife to cut the foam.
On the sides and nose I do believe the Fglass gets down to 1/16 in. but the corners are thick..
My Bfoot has about 180,000 miles on it over the 15 years we have owned it. It's been over some rough roads. There are some flex cracks in the Gel coat in some heavy load areas but no weakness that I can observe.
If my camper were to get destroyed I would not hesitate to replace it with either the Northern Lite or another Bigfoot...
I have had 3 metal/wood structure campers (used) they all had leaks when I got them...over the years and 1 metal/wood structured Motor home new it leaked BAD... The mfg replaced the whole roof... It still leaked on and off.. I sealed, sealed and sealed.... Uggs.
As for the bond of the Fiberglass/foam/1/8in ply it is a very solid design... Water can not get in-between unless the inside wood ply gets soaked..
I do hope the OP resolves his issue... I have a couple of friends that have Norther lites and love them... They have had them for years....
