I think HMS Beagle has clarified some of the "not real boat construction" comments. I am the second owner of my 1988 Bigfoot. I bought it in 2004. It has never been under cover. I think I checked the caulk maybe three times. The previous owner said he never checked the caulk. I pulled all windows to re-caulk. I had one window that leaked, and one that was borderline.
I have had several metal/wood structure campers (used) they all had leaks. I caulked them every year I had them. In would be hard pressed to go with a Felon TC.
I'll not say I would never own anything but a Bigfoot or Northern Lite, but they would absolutely be my first choice.
