The J2807 does not test frames as I said. It only states that they have to meet the SAE 684 or SAE 2638 requirement. SAE 684 was first issued in 1962(with the latest revision before the latest 2012 J2807 being in 2005) and SAE 2638 was issued in 2003 which are both long before J2807 was first introduced in 2008. I would think that even a 2009 and up truck should meet a requirement from 2005 or 2003.
