I would rather tow something in the 3500# class. Personally, i do not feel safe towing with a maxed out suv or maxed out anything for that matter. It becomes too much work and concentration and a lot less enjoyable. I would keep it lighter than 6k.
Read what Jeep towers are doing.
check rear axle and rear tire/wheel specs of your Jeep as not to overload the rear axle.
Towing a boat is different that towing a TT . Take into consideration the frontal area of the trailer , Jeep has a spec on that too .
Don't expect to go up hills too quickly and don't be surprised at the very poor gas mileage. With a relatively small tank, expect to stop often .
Make sure you have a transmission cooler.
