I had a '14 GC Limited 4x4 with 3.6 & tried towing an open car trailer (about 5500 lbs) with weight distribution. It was not adequate to me. Traded to '15 GC Overland 4x4 with the 3.0 diesel & it handles the 5500 lb car trailer weight fantastic. Not sure how it would handle a travel trailer with all the potential sway issues.
