I would challenge anyone to drive a HO Cummins/Aisin with a 4:10.
Get on it at a light.
Nothing slow about it.
Here is an 18 with the Aisin and 4:10. There is a drag race a few minutes in. I wouldn't call it fast.

Never talked about racing at a drag strip.
Just talking about day in and day out driving in mixed traffic.
Of course there are vehicles faster, and guess what, there are vehicles slower.
