Is there a separate Ram 5th wheel tow guide

That will be bumper tow. Load rating and rear qxle ratings are what you need.
My 07 quad cab dually scales at 8000 pounds. 11,5GVWR. So that means I can load 3500 pounds without exceeding the GVWR. If your looking at a SRW look at tire load rating too.

No, this is a dually and I just wanted to know what the max fifth wheel weight I can tow with it.

That 28,890 is for a fifth wheel/ gooseneck trailer. Conventional towing is limited to 18000lbs. That 28k is for a truck with a minimum GVW, a loaded and optioned truck will be less. Here an abbreviated method to calculate

Calculating the Maximum Loaded Trailer Weight for Your Vehicle
1. Start with the gross combined weight rating for your vehicle model and axle ratio.
2. Subtract all of the following that apply to your vehicle:
• Vehicle curb weight.
• Hitch hardware weight, for example a draw bar, ball, locks or weight distributing hardware.
• Driver weight.
• Passenger(s) weight.
• Payload, cargo and luggage weight.
• Aftermarket equipment weight.
This equals the maximum loaded trailer weight for this combination.
Note: The trailer tongue load is considered part of the payload for your vehicle. Reduce the total payload by the final trailer tongue weight.

Is it an Aisin tranny(tranny dip stick on drivers side) or 68RFE tranny (tranny dip stick on passengers side)? 2x4 or 4x4?

Well another member on here Cummins12V98 tows a 23K or so Mobile Suites with his 2015 Ram 3500 DRW. Not sure, but think he is right at max rear axle weight rating.

It will any 5th wheel out there. I have a DRW Cummins with Aisin and pull a 35Z Arctic Fox. I have look sometimes and still see if its there. Stopping is a different story.

Probably not most New Horizons and larger Space Crafts. Chris

The big numbers are for GN/5th trailers. Not bumper pulls.

Lets put it this way, I have that truck and my DRV weighs 23K loaded and has a pin of at least 5,750#. I am at or within my axle ratings and within my towing/combined weights.

It will tow any DRV made within ratings and they are HEAVY!!!
