If me, stick with the two piece drive shaft
Been there done that with conversion to one piece drive shaft...
The Z angle changes and might affect the suspension, but the biggie is that the
cross member support for the carrier bearing either must come off or modified to
NOT allow the new one piece drive shaft to touch it...destroys it VERY quickly
if it touches it while driving
Be sure to look for any new/mystery vibrations/noises. It is NOT
easy to re-align a two piece drive shaft after it comes apart. If just
the bearing...not much to worry about, but if it tore loose...
Of course based on my assumption that for a drive shaft to have a carrier
bearing...it is a two piece affair...
