Just got some bad news, could use some perspective.

Why don't you use your 350 for towing & get something light-weight for a daily driver? Do you need 2 tow vehicles?

I think the model year change is probably the issue. But I would be finding a dealer who would try to get me what I want, or had it in stock. Look out there on autotrader.com or cars.com. I bet that exact truck is available somewhere.
