Its a known issue because of the heavy payload option.

The lariat has a lot of options that will reduce your actual payload and I would be surprised if it's over 1600lbs even with the max tow package. Wait for the HD payload would be my suggestion for what you want the truck to do. My work truck is a 2013 screw 6.5ft bed with hd payload. The door sticker shows 2213lbs of payload.
