My experience is I have owned a 2006 Mustang and I currently own a 2005 Ford FiveHundred. They both have aluminum hoods and I have had corrosion issues with both hoods. The 500 has been repaired twice, second time out of warranty.

I also own an EB coming up on 60K miles and have not had a single issue with it.
