What year, tranny and rear end did you have?

My 2012 Silverado 5.3 3:42 rear 6 spd tows my 6500 lb trailer just fine.

So far from Ont to the East Coast once, Florida twice and California twice.

The 5.3 does need to rev at times but it is built for that.
