I am from Winnipeg as well. When I was truck shopping for my 2013 F150 I went to almost every dealer in Winnipeg and left everyone less than impressed. A friend told be to go to Carman Ford as he had bought all of his trucks there. Wow what a difference. Needless to say that is where I bought from. Totally worth the drive (45 minutes)!!!!
I just talked to the guys in Carmen and they will take one of their regular F150's to the local gravel truck scale and give me some real world numbers as to the curb weight of the truck with a very similar package to the one I am considering which is not max payload.
Next is to get Ford Canada to give me an extra 2K off plus my Costco amount off as well.
If all goes well, maybe next week the F350 will be up for sale.
I just need to see those scale numbers!
