Keystone passport construction

Hey all,

Still trying to determine if I want to pull the trigger on a passport 2400BH. I know the side walls are made from vacuum bonded luan on fiberglass, but does anyone know what the front and end caps are made from? I'm only curious because I don't know how they would get luan want to bend like that.

  • The Lance has a complete 4 Season package. Dual pane windows, heated enclosed holding tanks, dual stage heater, winterizing bypass valve, hatch covers, etc.

I don't know about the Apex Keystone or the Springdale.

OutdoorsRV - I'm not sure what they use, but it isn't composite iirc

Thanks, I'm also considering a Apex, its 7.5 foot wide model so it does not have an enclosed underbelly (always something lol!) It does have the Azdel composite siding and they did say however they could insulate and enclose it for me...

  • Outdoors Creekside brand of trailer interests me as well. Seems that they use 2 inch bonded walls which is nice. Looks like its just standard luan I am assuming as I don't see anything about composite or Azdel...
  • Frank is correct....if you see delamination u will know there is not much too it. Might want to look at a TT with composite construction altho they are pricier.
