Lance 820 framing

I am hoping some one can help me. I contacted Lance for this and their reply was they do not keep any info dating back to 2005 and that there isn't any standard either as each model is completely different.

I have a 2005 Lance 820. I am looking for either drawings or measurements and spacing for the roof and back wall framing. I am planning on more solar for the roof and a locking cabinet on the back wall beside the door- driver's side. I'm hoping someone got this back before they purged their system, or maybe stripped one down for repair and remembers the measurements. The fact that 16"OC or what ever they use is not the same for all roofs makes no sense to me.
  • You might try and call Lance, it has been about 5 years ago but when I was rebuilding a 1987 9000 they emailed me the drawings for the model I was working. Like kohldad they were hand drawn. I don't remember now exactly how I contacted them but I think it was through email. If that doesn't get you what you need the Lance Owners forum is a great resource and some one there might be able to give you a name of someone more helpful
  • We have all the drawings for our 2005 lance 815, all the paperwork came in a big gray zippered plactic bag, don't know if that would help you out or not? Like Kohidad said they were specific to the model!
  • My docs were hand drawn before they went computer. Someone pulled them from a file, scanned them, and then emailed. Don't remember who, but it was about seven years ago.
  • kohldad- I emailed tech support and that's the back and forth replies. He stated it's all computerized and they don't keep them back that far. When did you get them? Do you remember who you talked to?
  • That's funny. They had no problems providing drawings for my 2004 Lance 815. They gave me framing and electrical diagrams that were specific my model. They weren't as detailed as I would have liked because no concrete dimensions on every member, but by referencing other features, can make a pretty accurate guess.

Did you call them or just email Technical support?
