I think your truck will work with the upgrades you mentioned.
Lance camper website once had a "get-a-quote" weight calculator . Many people used it and found it to be helpful to determine the dry weights with the options.
I have found listed Lance dry wts. are without options. In my experience, the average Lance options weigh in at approx. 400-500# per unit.
I would now add up how you think you might load up your camper.
IMO, I would think your new base dry weight will be 3700-3800# .
Two things that come to mind when we push our trucks weight limits:
1. I'm not sure what the COG is on the 992, it might be something to consider when installing it on a SRW truck. You'll want to keep the COG on top of or better yet, in front of the rear axle.
I'm not saying your truck won't handle it, it's just one more thing to consider that might effect the handling a little.
2. When we carry weight and max out our trucks, it might be a good idea to install a tranny temp gauge, if you don't already have one. Excessive heat will cause premature tranny problems when they work harder.
Good luck , Bob
I cut this from an rv post: combined was 10,900 with a 992, different truck than you have but it offers a 992 owners opinion:

Well, I’ll offer up my real world experience with our 2008 dual slide 992 on a 2500 Dodge. When we purchased our 992, I was naïve and listened to the salesman as well as what the brochures said. I didn’t think this camper would be anywhere near too heavy for my truck but on one trip I weighed my setup and found 4200 lbs on the front and 6700 lbs on the rear fully loaded and wet with full tanks of fuel in the truck and camper and my wife and I both in the truck.
The truck is a 1998 24 valve Cummins Dodge 2500. It’s the 5 speed so it has the hybrid Dana 80 rear axle. I’ve got airbags and Rancho 9000 shocks. It’s a 2 wheel drive quad cab.
I run the bags about 80psi and the rear shocks either at 7 or 9 on the adjustment.
While I'm overweight I’ve gotta say that the truck drives fantastic. I’ve been on curvy coastal ocean roads, mountain passes and high desert areas in high winds. The winds are the only thing that have been white knuckle for me but they were for the Semi’s too so I slowed down to their speed and we did just fine. If it had gotten worse, I would have just pulled over and waited it out.
My issue is the tires. I have Toyo 265/75/16s mounted on the factory steel wheels. These are load range E and are good for 3415 lbs a piece. Clearly I am at the limit of the tire rating.
I carry a heat gun and shoot tire temps often and have found that the temps don’t vary that much from when I’m running empty versus loaded. I will say, that I am cautious of loading too much but since we usually just go for weekends, our needs are small.
I still am kicking around tire ideas and if I could squeeze some 285/75/16E that have a load rating of 3700 lbs a piece in the back I would jump on that in a heartbeat. Just not sure of a wheel available that fit those larger tires.
I have and am considering 19.5s as well but likely am limited by size to the 225s which on paper don’t gain me that much more wiggle room weight capacity wise than the 3415 I have now.
And for the weight police here, YES, I would love to have a 1 ton dually 4x4 to haul it with all the options but that financially isn’t in the cards for us and for the 10 days or so a year we get to use the camper, probably isn’t the wisest move for us.
Anyhow, for the original poster, there is my experience with something similar to what you are considering. Hope it helps in your decision making.
PS………..WE LOVE OUR 992
