I had them on my 2008 RAM 3500. The additional cab length on the 2013 RAM 3500 basically prevents the use of the struts. I have noticed that the 2013 does not porpoise as much as the 2008 did.
I am not using my struts.
When the struts were installed on the 2008 they were parallel to the A pillar and windshield.
