Most covered bridges have a weight limit in an effort to preserve them , usually limited to cars and empty pickups . Some are only foot traffic .
Northern VT and NH is almost past peak , central is at peak , and southern is coming on fast .
Note; peak foliage is a very subjective term , until the leaves fall I think it's all good .
