leak around tv antenna on roof
hi. new to forum. I just bought a 2005 29ft fbs jayco jay flight. it is tripping water around the antenna. has anyone had this problem and know what I need to do to fix the problem. thanks

It would be really helpful if you told us what make / model of antenna you have and just where you think this leak is occurring - along the shaft itself that runs into and below the trailer roof or in the caulking around the base of the antenna. :@ That said, considering this is a 2005 trailer my guess is you have a Winegard Sensar III and if that's the case the quad ring within the elevating shaft should be lubricated at least twice a year to prevent the rubber from becoming brittle and therefore allowing leaks down the shaft. My bet this has never been done and if so it's no wonder it leaks. :E Details on how to do this are contained in the Winegard Sensar owner's manual.
