leaving camper on site, turn off water or take off hose?

I'm not a seasonal RVer but if there is a risk of freezing temps or theft, I would remove the hose. Otherwise I think it wouldn't make much difference. From what I have observed, during the summer, most seasonals have all their hoses attached, present or not.

When I leave the camper for the day I turn off the water at the CG faucet, and I turn off the pump if I am not using the water from the tank.
