Lets beat on that horse again - new ford 6.7 track record

my 2011 6.7 had almost 120k miles when I traded it in, zero issues and I would still have it if were not a f250. So far my current truck has 24k miles and no issues other than keeping fuel in the tank...shes a big girl with a drinking problem!

"ALL emissions will be under the truck"...what does that mean and how is that a benefit? I am assuming for ease of repairs, etc.?

Another interesting comment. Ford has not produced any of the previous 4 Diesels. 6.9, 7.3 6.0, or the 6.4. 6.7 is their own design.

I meant it's been the best diesel ford has used in the SD line since the 7.3 IH.

From what I have heard Ford, has hit a Home Run with this very " Internationally sourced " engine.

I guess you could say it's Internationally Made as in Mexico.

From what I have read Fords 6.7 seems to be a very good engine. It had a few bumps at first but they quickly fixed them had it looks like they have yet another great Engine in their stable.

Well orginally designed by Austrian Diesel designers( normally do marine engines),somewhere a German company did the Alloy for the block, Block was made by Tufy of Brazil. Project management and final testing by Ford Dagenham England. It is a sort of Ford Diesel

The 6.7 L is the first medium duty diesel designed and built by Ford. It was designed in conjunction with AVL in Austria. During design, Ford engineers codenamed this engine "Scorpion" due to the turbo being mounted ...

There is nothing to be scared about when it comes to the Ford Super Duty's with the 6.7 Powerstroke. I had 3 F350's with the 7.3 in them before this 6.7 I've had it for 3 years now and the 6.7 is as good as it gets !! The 6.7 is a Monster !! All the power you will ever need for pulling a trailer or 5th wheel ! 80,000 miles on it and nothing more than oil and filters.....Never has been back to a Ford dealer.
