Been reading a lot of posts, still trying to figure out the difference's between the two engines. I have an 04 2500 D/M LT with 99,600 miles. Bought the truck when it had only 73,000 miles on it.

I am pretty sure that a 2002 duramax if purchased new will not need the injectors replaced a dozen years later .
I am also very sure that a 2002 duramax purchased new will not overheat in the desert California 115 degree heat towing a high profile travel trailer for a dozen years or so .
Air conditioner going full blast driving 61.23 mph towing and neither temp guage in the red , 115.67 degrees uphill into a headwind .
