Been reading a lot of posts, still trying to figure out the difference's between the two engines. I have an 04 2500 D/M LT with 99,600 miles. Bought the truck when it had only 73,000 miles on it.

Some people had overheating issues but most of the trucks 04-06 never did. Any truck will run hot if you set the cruise control at 70 up a grade in 100+ weather.
