Thanks for the points and tips. I found one just like the above with the U dinette 23B in Mississippi at camping world. Called them about it today and ....
A he said the floor in all these super lightweights feels a little soft. Said a brand new one right beside it felt exactly the same. He said it's the way they make them to save weight, 3/8" something. But completely normal. Any truth to that?
B. He totally turned us off it when he informed that all the camping world trailers would have a $995 fee to the service department because they do some kind of BS setup and show you how everything works when you get there to buy it. So the camper listed for $7300 was actually $8300. Not sure there isn't another doc fee on top of that but didn't ask. It was over at that point. I know you can't deal with camping world but was foolish enough to call about something they had for sale. I sent a complaint to RV trader about the false advertising and misinformation posted by them but I'm sure camping world is a major contributor to their revenue stream and will do nothing.
PS: He called back later and said he'd split the 995 in half, but thats still jibberish talk. Thats then $7800. I can drive 1 hour and buy one for 8K just like it, but I think thats a little high for an 08'. Around 7 or some change above seems more appropriate for an 08'. (hence why $7300 was of interest.)
